Murrysville is a predominately rural residential community located at the western edge of Westmoreland County approximately 20 miles east of Pittsburgh. The community covers approximately 37 square miles of rolling foothills and consists of a variety of residential neighborhoods, high-density housing complexes, a commercial district primarily confined to the US Route 22 corridor.

Franklin Regional School District was ranked #1 out of 17 school districts in Westmoreland County by U.S. News “Best High Schools,” and 32 out of 492 districts state-wide according to the Pittsburgh Business Times.
Franklin Regional School District’s Website shows a 97.23% Daily Attendance Rate and a 97.55% Graduation Rate among students.
The Murrysville Community provides a host of events and activities for residents. The local Parks and Recreation Department remains active all year with both outdoor and indoor events, and the Community Library is a staple in the area.
