Changing of the bannersOut with the old and in with the new! The seasonal banners adorned along Old 22 received a makeover this morning as each poll changed from red to blue. With the assistance of Windswept Promotions, the MECDC meticulously changed each banner with a cherry picker bucket along the highway. Though commuters were inconvenienced by the truck’s presence, the event did not cause congestion.

The Murrysville Economic and Community Development Corporation’s mission is to stimulate, create and enhance economic development to promote technical assistance, education and activities to aid business location and growth of existing businesses and aid new businesses to sustain the quality of life for the residents of the municipality of Murrysville. The banners serve as both funding for the projects created by the MECDC and an aesthetically pleasing form of advertising for our local businesses. Designed by Georganna Spinello, the new theme banner expresses that Murrysville is a great place to LIVE, SHOP, DINE and obtain professional SERVICES. The municipal crest aslo appears in the center of the banner.
