A Blue Star Memorial was erected at the visitor center by the Roberts Trail head bike path.

This tribute for the Armed Forces who defended the United States is sponsored by the Murrysville Garden Club and Murrysville American Legion Post #711.  In cooperation with the Westmoreland Heritage Trail Chapter, R.T.C. and the Municipality of Murrysville.
