Murrysville is a predominately rural residential community located at the western edge of Westmoreland County approximately 20 miles east of Pittsburgh. The community covers approximately 37 square miles of rolling foothills and consists of a variety of residential neighborhoods, and high density housing complexes, a commercial district that is primarily confined to the Rt. 22 corridor that runs through the southern half of the community, two industrial parks and two medium sized industrial complexes.
